Selection of an RPA governance model is not a hard science. Above are four common models that can be used as a starting point for your organization. Elements of models can be moved or modified to create your tailored approach. The key is to make sure you adress all concerns in an effective model that is clearly communicated and supported. In some very large organizations, a cascading approach may be employed in which a parent organization owns policy, licenses, and provides resources while highly divergent business units implement a centralized or federated model for Bot life-cycle management.
